In order for a restaurant to be submitted for Love Your Dinner's review, it must not be considered a "chain" restaurant. According to LYD criteria, a non-chain establishment must have 5 or fewer locations total. In addition, each month LYD will be "spotlighting" a restaurant chain or non-chain, a particular dish, or a specialty event of our choosing that we think our followers should know about and try. However, this may or may not reflect our typical criteria for regular postings. Even so, each restaurant LYD finds is tasted and put through a rigorous five-point process created by the members of LYD. Based on this process, LYD scrutinizes each establishment and it must meet a strict minimum rating. LYD constituents rate based on their personal opinion of atmosphere, customer service, food and menu selection, and taste. After much deliberation, time, and a unanimous agreement, the restaurant is then written about with our very own writing expertise and then made ready for you, the fellow food lover, to read about and then dine!
Love Your Dinner reserves the right to change its restaurant criteria at any time regardless of past criteria. But just so you know, our mission is to advertise for non-chain restaurants because those are the diamonds in the rough that we adore!
